This course is designed for young people aged 16-19 who are exploring apprenticeships. You'll develop essential English and Maths skills while gaining hands-on experience with real employers. The course will help you build work readiness, create a strong CV, and prepare for competitive application processes.

You’ll begin with a full skills analysis and collaborate with our team to create a personalized action plan, focusing on any identified skill gaps with the support of our wide network of employers.

Upon completing the course, you’ll earn an NCFE Level 2 Award or Certificate in Employability Skills.
Who is this course for?
This course is designed for 16-19-year-olds who want to progress into apprenticeships outside of the building trade but need additional time to develop employability skills and gain real-world work experience with employers.

- A reference from your last place of education.

Assessment types
You will be assessed through a variety of methods, including witness statements provided by employers, practical demonstrations and reflections, written assignments, and professional discussions.
For those resitting GCSEs, there will be opportunities to retake exams in both November and May, depending on your grading profile at enrolment.
